Lidya Sturm, a sophomore at Stanley-Boyd High School, brought home a silver medal after participating in the 2024 Special Olympics Wisconsin Bowling State Tournament in Wausau on Sunday. The December 7th-8th tournament held at Dale’s Weston Lanes in Schofield saw 1200 athletes from across the state compete for top honors. Sturm said that she “was really happy” with her win and “definitely” plans to compete again next year. Congratulations, Lidya!
