The Stanley-Boyd Athlete of the Week is Willy Graham, who had an impressive performance at the Bi-State Tournament on December 27th, finishing 6th out of more than 70 teams. He joins former SB wrestlers Blaine Brenner and Breckin Burzynski as the third wrestler from Stanley-Boyd to make it to the Bi-State Semi-Finals. Graham credits his mom for getting him started in wrestling. “My mom pushed me to wrestle in kindergarten,” he explains. “At first I really didn’t enjoy it, but after my first win is when I started to really love wrestling.” Graham also praises his teammates and coaches, calling them his favorite part of wrestling. “They are all fun to be around and very supportive people that I’m honored to have.”
