A total of 42 classmates from the class of 1970 celebrated their 55th year class reunion at the Village Haus in Boyd this past Saturday, September 20. Classmate Gale Haas welcomed everyone and introduced Class Advisor Larry Norrell who shared a few humorous stories about the year 1969-70 when he first started teaching Biology at Stanley-Boyd High School.
Reunion Chairperson Judy Kosar Kubera compiled a number of class prophecies that were presented with laughter leading up to lunch time. Paster Donald Hakes said grace before lunch was served and asked for a moment of silence in honor of those 27 classmates that are no longer with us.
Reminiscing and camaraderie with laughter and pleasant memories filled the evening atmosphere until closing.
