Blood donors are needed!
The upcoming Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive will be Friday, August 5, 12 to 6 pm at the Stanley Community Center in Chapman Park.
If you haven’t made an appointment yet, there still is time. Donors can make an appointment on line or by calling Donella Christianson at 715-644-3638. There is a constant need for blood donors all year, with summer always being one of the hardest times for blood drives to meet or exceed the goal. People are taking vacations or working outside in the beautiful summer weather and not making time to donate blood.
Patients who need blood or blood components on a regular basis so they can continue to live, depend on you, the healthy blood donor. Please take time from you very busy summer schedule and donate blood on August 5.
Other Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross blood drives are Friday, October 14, and Friday, December 23. Appoint ments for the October drive can be make on line or calling, and the December drive by calling Donella at the above number.
The need is constant, the gratification is instant. Make an appointment now to donate blood.
