The Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on Friday, October 15, 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. There is currently an immediate blood shortage and your donation is urgently needed. If you haven’t made your appointment yet, please do so as soon as possible. The schedule is filling fast. If you are a power red donor, please consider donating and make an appointment soon.

The Red Cross follows the highest standards of safety and infection control. For the safety of our donors and staff, the Red Cross will require all those at blood drives and blood donation centers to resume wearing face masks regardless of their vaccination status. Valve face masks are not permitted. Face shields can be worn in addition to face masks but not as a substitute.

Someone needs you! Many patients depend on the healthy blood donor to continue enjoying life. We have a little person within our community who needs blood on a regular basis. Let’s show our support and donate blood to help with the blood shortage.

Summer is always a critical time when blood is needed, and with COVID it has been harder to collect the needed blood to keep an adequate blood supply. As of now, all donors are needed to help with the immediate shortage. Make an appointment today by calling Donella Christianson at 715644-3638 or on-line.

The need is constant, the gratification is instant! Please donate blood on October 15 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
