Blood Donors Needed. All donors who have appointments are urged to please keep their appointment for the upcoming Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, October 14, 12:00 to 6:00 pm at the Stanley Community Center.
Anyone still wanting to donate blood, please call Donella Christianson at 644-3638 or check online to see if there are any cancellations. If you choose to walk-in, you may be accepted if there is an opening at the time, but there is also the chance you may not be accepted. If you need to cancel your appointment, please call Donella by 10 am on Friday, or call or text 715-379-3828.
Trick or treat yourself with a $5 e-gift card to a merchant of choice when you come to give blood on October 14 at Stanley Community Center.
DID YOU KNOW: 50% of Americans like watching blood get spilled in horror movies. What’s really scary is only 3% donate blood each year. That’s not enough!
A recent decline in blood donations may soon make it tough to keep blood products stocked on hospital shelves. We need all eligible donors to come forward and give. A successful blood drive can make a difference.
