There is an emergency blood shortage so don’t forget your appointment for the Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, October 15 at Our Savior’s. If you choose to walk-in, please know that you may be accepted if there is an opening at the time you come in or if there if one opens later, you may also be accepted if you come back. The best way to be ensured of donating is to have an appointment. Donors can also be put on an “on-call” list if there are any cancellations.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call Donella at the number below. There might be a couple of empty appointment slots up to Friday morning so if you would like to make an appointment, please call Donella before 10:00 am on Friday.

For the safety of donors and staff, the Red Cross will require all those at blood drives to resume wearing face masks regardless of their vaccination status. Valve face masks are not permitted. Face shields can be worn in addition to face masks but not as a substitute.

Please remember to do the RapidPass Friday morning prior to coming into the blood drive. This does save time and helps things move a little smoother.

If you would like an appointment for the next drive, December 23, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, please call Donella Christianson at 715-644-3638 or there will be a pre sign-up sheet at the October 15 drive. See you on Friday, October 15.
