The Red Cross collected 63 units of blood at the Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, August 7, with the goal of 51. There were ten donors who donated power reds. This is team work, Red Cross, volunteers, and donors all working to make a successful blood drive.
Those assisting with this drive were Stanley- Boyd Schools, who allowed the use of their facility, canteen donations from FFA Alumni, and Stanley Commercial Club, site volunteers, the volunteers who called donors, and all the donors who took their time to come in.
The next Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive will be Friday, October 16, 12:00 to 6:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and December 24 at Boyd Legion Hall. If you would like to make an appointment for this either or both drives, please call Donella Christianson at 715-644-3638.
