On December 8th, the Stanley-Boyd High School Choir delivered a beautiful performance of Christmas carols at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. The choir, under the direction of High School Music Teacher Louella Derrico, captivated the congregation with their talented voices and harmonies adding a special touch to the service as they helped to usher in the holiday season. The choir left a lasting impression with their beautiful renditions of five traditional Christmas carols, including Carol of the Bells, Joy to the World, and Silent Night. Pastor Ken Schmidt shared that the choir’s annual performance has become a cherished tradition, with the congregation eagerly anticipating their visit each year. “Our congregation very much enjoys the students sharing their God-given talent with us and bringing so much joy and light during the season of Advent,” he said. “We give thanks to God for each of them and look forward to them joining us every year.”
