The Stanley-Boyd Student Council hosted a memorable evening for local families on Friday, March 7th, as they organized, “Bowties and Tiaras”, a Family Dance at the Stanley-Boyd High School cafeteria. The event, which brought together families from the community, was an opportunity to create lasting memories while enjoying a night of fun, music, and celebration.
Parents and children alike had the chance to dress up in their best attire, with many sporting elegant tiaras and dashing bowties, in keeping with the theme of the evening. Guests were treated to delicious snacks, adding a sweet touch to the festivities. Smiles were abundant as parents, children, and friends posed for pictures that will be cherished for years to come. The photo area was one of the most popular spots of the night, with families lining up to capture smiles with a “red carpet” photo backdrop.
The dance itself was filled with lively music and popular radio hits, creating an energetic atmosphere. Children danced, played, and celebrated with their loved ones while parents enjoyed watching the excitement unfold. The Student Council members did a wonderful job of ensuring that all attendees felt welcome and part of the fun. Their hard work, along with the organization and support of High School English teacher Kayleigh Steinmetz, made the evening a success and provided a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, have fun together, and create lasting memories. The “Bowties and Tiaras” Family Dance was more than just a night of dancing – it was a celebration of family and community. Families are already looking forward to the next event!
