Tru Touch of Broadway, a photography business owned by Josh and Casey Walters, held a ribbon cutting on Broadway Avenue in Stanley Thursday, Oct. 30 at 4:30 p.m., courtesy of the Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce.
Both members of the Chamber and public were both on hand. Welcome was given by Stanley Chamber president Ron Haas, with Chamber Treasurer Debbie Haas and Chippewa County Economic Development Coordinator Charlie Walker also making remarks.
“These businesses need your support,” Walker said in an appeal to support small businesses. “Entrepreneurship is a risk.”
Business co-owner Casey Walters shared that Tru Touch of Broadway came about from a childhood interest.
“I’ve always had an eye for capturing different moments, different events,” she said.
Co-owner Josh Walters shared that it couldn’t have happened without the support of carpenter Jeff Ryba, who helped get things ready.
“We couldn’t have done this without Jeff,” Walters said.
Located at 115 North Broadway in Stanley, Tru Touch of Broadway offers a variety of photo session options, with high school senior sessions starting at $300, family sessions starting at $250, business branding starting at $150, newborn sessions starting at $250, wedding photography starting at $250 an hour , and engagement/couples starting at $250.
