It was a packed house at the Stanley Community Association’s first Community Bingo of the year. While it may have been a chilly night, inside the community center everyone was feeling the heat as the bingo games intensified. Cash prizes, ice cream tokens, pool passes, movie theater passes, and gift cards to local businesses were some of the great prizes up for grabs with a little something for everyone. The Stanley Community Association volunteers were kept busy selling concessions, including delicious chili and hot dogs. You could feel the tension in the crowd during the last round with a meat box from Mahr Brothers as the final prize going to Marney Richling! Cherish Marceau was the big winner of the 50/50 raffle totaling $107.50. After Thursday night’s success, the next Community Bingo scheduled for February 23rd is sure to be a hit.
