3:43 p.m. Officer responded to Stanley-Boyd Schools for a child custody
issue. 4:30 p.m.
A man in the 300 block of North Franklin registered objection to leaves and other debris reportedly being blown unto his lawn by a neighbor.
5:10 p.m.
Officer responded to a call of a cat that was stuck in a sewer drain alongside Hansen’s IGA. Both sides of the street were checked and no animals were observed or heard inside the sewer.
6:33 p.m.
Police were requested for a stray dog complaint in the 700 block of North Franklin Street.
November 6 12:32 a.m.
Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a suspicious circumstances complaint.
9:00 a.m.
A man requested a welfare check on an elderly woman who drove to his home and was not sure where she lived.
10:04 a.m.
A Rusk County DHS worker contacted Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office and requested a check welfare on a woman at an address located in the City of Stanley. Location was checked and there was no answer at the door.
10:07 a.m.
Dog was located running at large and brought into the Stanley Clerk’s Office. The owner was contacted and they responded a short time later to pick up the dog.
1:04 p.m.
A man in an on-going dispute with his neighbor in the 300 block of North Franklin Street made known his complaint to the police.
9:53 p.m.
Two suspicious vehicles reported in the parking lot of Kwik Trip. They left prior to the officer’s arrival and no description or plates were given. The area was checked and nothing was located.
11:24 p.m.
Report was received of an unconscious, unresponsive older woman. Upon officer’s arrival, CPR was administered as well as a defibrillator. EMS arrive and provided extra medical attention, and the patient was transported to the hospital.
November 7 4:38 a.m.
A commercial alarm was called in at Hansen’s IGA by the alarm company. Alarm was cancelled prior to officer arrival.
11:42 a.m.
Complaint was received regarding an ongoing issue with a neighbor blowing leaves and other debris unto an adjacent property. As a result of the contact, Betty Plombon, age 80, was cited for depositing of materials on another’s property without consent.
12:02 p.m.
Report came in of an active alarm at an unspecified local business. The perimeter and doors were checked with no signs of issues. Keyholder advised the alarm company that no one would be responding.
4:08 p.m.
Officer requested for a child custody dispute involving children that were supposed to be in quarantine. With an officer on the scene after additional information was received, the adult parties agreed on a compromise and the officer cleared.
9:20 p.m.
A vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road with the operator standing near the vehicle. Upon contact, it was learned that he was looking for an item that was dropped while driving.
November 8 2:14 a.m.
Vehicle was observed parked and running near the business for approximately 40 minutes. Contact was made with the operator who was identified as the owner of the building. He was resting before starting work later that morning.
November 9 9:25 a.m.
A woman reported that her vehicle door was found open while parked outside her residence overnight.
6:45 p.m.
Stanley Police conducted a traffic stop resulting in the a young person being cited for a probationary license violation.
November 10 12:16 a.m.
Stanley Police responded to a 911 investigate in the 700 block of North Franklin Street, being told by the homeowner that there was nothing going on at the residence.
8:49 a.m.
Vehicle lockout call in the 300 block of South Broadway Street. 7:36 p.m.
Stanley Police conducted a traffic stop on South Broadway at Oak Street in Stanley. As a result, the driver of the stopped vehicle, Patrick Klenke, was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle with no insurance and operating a motor vehicle while suspended. November 11 12:35 a.m.
Stanley Police detailed a check person call at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Madison Street in Stanley. As a result the complainant, Austin D. Bauer, was arrested for OWI – 1st. 10:32 a.m.
An assault was reported from the Stanley prison.
1:38 p.m.
Police received report of an erratic driver, but upon a check of the area the vehicle was not located.
2:25 p.m.
A pot hole was reported on highway 29. Upon checking the area, a hole of broken concrete was located near the Highway 29 westbound lane at mile marker 101. The county highway department was contacted and personnel arrived and patched the hole.
3:16 p.m.
A young person and their mother were advised to separate and revisit the conversation when both were calm and could arrange on an agreed time frame to exchange property.
November 12 9:52 a.m.
A disabled RV parked on the corner of South Broadway and Maple street for almost a week was set to be removed after contact was made with the owner. The vehicle was moved later that same day. 2:32 p.m.
The owners of the Stanley Theater requested an officer make contact with a man who was walking across the theater roof without permission.
4:11 p.m.
A vehicle lockout waiver form was completed and the vehicle unlocked without incident.
November 13 7:50 p.m.
Officer requested for a traffic complaint on State Highway 29.
November 14 1:00 p.m.
Police were requested with reference to a child custody dispute.
