October 12 10:01 a.m.
A man residing on the 600 block of Franklin Street came into the Stanley Police Department to report a theft from his vehicle. The man said two Milwaukee drills, three Milwaukee batteries, medication and money were taken. 1:44 p.m.
Stanley Police requested for an erratic driver on State Highway 29 eastbound. Vehicle exited Highway 29 before Stanley. October 13 3:40 p.m.
Vehicle stopped for speeding violation in a school zone when children were present. Kyra, Ellenberger White, age 28, was cited for speeding in a school zone, unauthorized display of registration, operating with a suspended driver’s license, and operating with no insurance. 4:21 p.m.
Stanley Police were contacted in reference to a young person who was in custody at their facility.
5:58 p.m.
Police requested for an alarm at a Stanley business. It was determined to be a false alarm.
6:09 p.m.
Police were requested for a civil standby involving an exchange of a chainsaw as property. Report taken. 6:10 p.m.
Police requested for a vehicle lockout. Vehicle opened.
October 14 3:58 a.m.
A woman in the 900 block of Emery Street requested police respond for a possible unknown man in the residence.
11:24 a.m.
An officer was requested at Stanley-Boyd High School for a student that was observed actively using vaping products inside the school. Brandon Buck, age 18, was cited for possession of nicotine products on school grounds.
2:04 p.m.
Crisis intervention complaint logged as a check-person call.
October 15 4:34 a.m.
Stanley Police were requested to assist EMS in the 400 block of East First Avenue in Stanley. Officer was advised that everything was ok, and that it was a false alarm. 7:24 a.m.
A traffic complaint was called in near the Stanley prison. Vehicle was located and followed with no driving behavior observed.
9:22 p.m.
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a moving violation. As a result of the contact. The driver, 19-yearold Jahda Welke, was arrested for OWI – THC related. 11:01 p.m.
Stanley Police observed a vehicle pulled over to the side of the road on County Road NN and Highway 29. Contact was made with the vehicle operator who was determined to be searching for an item in his vehicle. October 16 2:07 p.m.
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for an equipment violation. As a result of the contact, the vehicle operator, 24-year-old Robert Wyss, was arrested for OWI.
4:49 p.m.
Police received report of a sexual assault of a minor that had occurred a few weeks previous. Investigation ongoing.
5:33 p.m.
K9 assist with the Cadott Police Department that resulted in a positive K9 alert and subsequent arrest of a man for possession of methamphetamine. No name provided.
6:45 p.m.
Police were requested for a gas skip at the Stanley Travel Stop. 8:08 p.m.
Police were again requested for a gas skip at the Stanley Travel Stop.
9:32 p.m.
Police were requested for an EMS call in the 100 block of West 8th Avenue. 9:21 p.m.
Police were requested for an EMS call involving a possibly deceased man. October 18 1:30 p.m.
Police were requested to respond to the area of the Stanley Correctional Institution for a person that was taking photographs of the facility. Contact was made and the person was asked to move on. 3:54 p.m.
Vehicle observed at a high rate of speed on North Franklin Street. Vehicle stopped and contact was made with the operator. As a result of the contact Cody Knapp, age 19, was cited for a speeding violation.
4:10 p.m.
Vehicle was observed not stopping for a stop sign on Emery Street at East First Avenue. Vehicle stopped and contact was made with operator. As a result of the traffic stop Daniel Peterson, age 32, was cited for a stop sign violation.
4:47 p.m.
Police requested for an erratic driver on State Highway 29 westbound from Clark County. Before arrival the officer was advised that the vehicle had already gone by.
6:29 p.m.
Police requested to assist a man with a flat tire in his pickup truck.
6:55 p.m.
Police were requested to respond to Our Lady of Victory Hospital for a man who had provided false personal identification information.
October 19 8:10 a.m.
A traffic stop was made for expired registration, with operator Christina Straszkowski, age 30, cited for the violation.
2:31 p.m.
A mother responded to the Stanley Police Department to report her daughter missing. Runaway form completed and entered.
4:07 p.m.
A different mother responded to the Stanley Police Department with her young daughter who was making statements of self-harm. Northwest Connections was contacted and the daughter agreed to voluntary treatment at Sacred Heart. The mother transported the daughter. No further incident.
2:34 p.m.
Police were called to a domestic disturbance at the Grant Street Apartments on the third floor. As a result of the subsequent contact, Shane Dircks, age 21, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and a loaded rifle found in the hallway outside the residence was confiscated for safe keeping.
October 20 6:49 a.m.
Vehicle was located near the boat landing. Contact was made with the driver passenger. Nothing suspicious observed.
7:48 a.m.
A report of two dogs running at large was received. The area was checked and nothing was observed 9:56 a.m.
Chippewa County probation and parole agent requested a welfare check on a client who was upset and making statements of self-harm due to frustration. A woman was located at the listed address and appeared to be fine.
12:45 p.m.
Search made for missing young people, with reference to earlier report of missing daughter by mother.
8:42 p.m.
Stanley Police assisted Stanley Fire with a wire that was sparking due to heavy snow on a tree branch that was contacting the wire. Police remained on scene until no longer needed.
October 21 1:46 p.m.
A bike was reported by a motorist located on the corner of Highway H and 130th Street that may have been linked to a missing persons case. A picture of the bike was provided to the parents and was determined to not be their property.
4:06 p.m.
Requested for a person who was severely intoxicated and needing to go to a treatment facility. The person was transported to L. E. Phillips.
6:45 p.m.
Stanley Police requested for a vehicle crash with no personal injuries. Call was cancelled.
October 22 1:21 p.m.
Requested for a vehicle lock out at Advanced Auto Parts. Police responded and the vehicle was opened.
7:06 p.m.
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a moving violation. As a result Justin Price, age 21, was cited for operating after suspension and operating without insurance.
11:58 p.m.
Police were dispatched to a possible domestic in progress at the Grant Street Apartments. Once on scene officers learned the call was a noise complaint.
October 23 3:39 a.m.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office advised Stanley Police of a woman with a felony warrant from Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley, Wisconsin.
Eau Claire advised Clark County to give the woman a new court date.
