Officer assisted Chippewa County Age & Disability worker with an unannounced group home visit after his office received a report of abuse. Officer stood by and offered assistance as needed. Unsubstantiated at this time. 7:34 p.m.
Stanley police were called to the 200 block of West Maple Street for a landlord tenant complaint.
August 1 12:33 a.m.
Stanley Police were called to the 200 block of Lincoln Street for a check person complaint. Contact with the complainant was made and he advised that an unknown man was at the residence and had since left. The area was checked, and nothing was located.
11:38 a.m.
Active door alarm at Our Lady of Victory Hospital for the east smoker’s door. Officer spoke with staff who advised that everything was fine and that the door might have been triggered by a new staff member who was not aware.
August 2 1:14 a.m.
Stanley Police were called to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop on Highway 29 eastbound near mile marker 101. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.
9:23 a.m.
Clark County passed on a driving complaint regarding some erratic driving westbound on Highway 29 from the Withee area. Officer located the vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted.
12:19 p.m.
A complaint of criminal damage to property was made from the 300 block of South Franklin Street.
August 3 10:05 a.m.
Officer requested for a vehicle lockout. Vehicle opened.
12:29 p.m.
Requested for a vehicle versus pedestrian accident. Minor injury reported by young person. Contact was made with parent and was advised there was no issue. 9:28 p.m. Police were requested for a fireworks complaint at an unspecified
address. August 4 7:13 a.m.
Officer requested to respond to the Stanley Kwik Trip for a small child in the store with no parents. Contact was made at the store and the child was returned home. Report to be sent to Human Services.
6:44 p.m.
Police were requested to respond to a 911 hang-up.
8:27 p.m.
Police were requested in the 900 block of Emery Street for a miscellaneous complaint. 9:20 p.m.
Police were requested to respond to a noise complaint in the 500 block of County Trunk O.
9:42 p.m.
Stanley Police were requested to assist the Thorp Police Department at Our Lady of Victory Hospital.
August 5 12:04 p.m.
Traffic stop conducted. Upon completion of the stop, Lisa Kaiser, age 43, was cited for Operate After Revocation – 6th Office and verbally warned for improper registration.
8:29 p.m.
Stanley Police were called to assist the Thorp Police Department with an active bank alarm. Assistance was provided until no longer needed. August 6 11:34 a.m.
A woman called wanted to report an assault that occurred on July 7th at her home, reportedly by her boyfriend’s teenage nephew.
1:41 p.m.
Anonymous complaint received regarding dogs not being taken care of. 3:13 p.m.
Staff with Chippewa County Human Services requested an officer assist with an unannounced home visit after receiving an anonymous report of a child being mistreated. Upon arrival, staff spoke to the child’s mother who was listed as the person of interest. Staff gathered info while officer stood by. Nothing observed by officer, additional follow- up planned. 8:52 p.m.
Stanley police were called to a residence in the 300 block of North Franklin Street where they received photos on a disk related to a previous trespass complaint. Officer stated they would document the photos and cleared from the scene.
August 7 11:26 a.m.
Report was received of people unlawfully entering a vacant residence that was in the process of being remodeled.
1:18 p.m.
Report was received of a gas theft that had occurred one week previous.
3:27 p.m.
A fire call came in from an unspecified address.
3:30 p.m.
Report was received of a man harassing two teenage girls.
3:56 p.m.
Theft of fuel reported form the Stanley Travel Stop. The license plate number provided did not match the vehicle description given and further confirmation was awaited.
5:05 p.m.
Assistance provided to EMS as needed.
