STANLEY POLICE REPORTS

July 22 1:44 p.m.

A stray dog was located in the campground and transported to the Chippewa Humane Association. Dog was an unaltered male with a red harness.

8:03 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to the 800 block of North Emery Street, where group home staff advised that a resident had become violent and they could no longer manage the aggressive

behavior. Report to follow.

July 23 4:02 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for loud arguing coming from an apartment complex. Upon arrival and subsequent to locating the dispute, Keith Soward, age 31, and Kayla Nitz, age 25, were issued citations for disorderly conduct.

5:19 p.m.

Upon completing a traffic stop for a vehicle traveling at a high rate of

speed, the driver, 60-year-old Timothy Madison, was cited for a speeding violation.

July 24 10:54 a.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon conducting a traffic stop, the driver, 30-year-old Thomas Walters, was cited for a speeding violation.

1:44 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for an EMS call. It was determined that the call was in Thorp. Stanley Police did not respond.

9:27 p.m.

Stanley K9 Officer Trey and handler assisted the Wisconsin State Patrol with a traffic stop.

9:56 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist the Thorp Police Department by Clark County.

11:23 p.m.

Police were requested to respond to Our Lady of Victory Hospital.

July 25 4:05 p.m.

Stanley Police observed an ATV being operated off the posted route and in Chapman Park. The ATV was stopped and contact made with the operator. As a result of the stop, Tyler Straskowski, age 22, was cited for violating ATV regulations.

4:19 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to meet with someone at the Stanley Police Department in. reference to an assault complaint. Incident occurred in the City of Thorp, and the people were advised to contact the Thorp Police Department.

4:54 p.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle with expired registration. Upon a traffic stop, the vehicle's operator was warned.

10:35 p.m.

Stanley was requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office.
