December 23 6:29 p.m.

Gerald Gordon referred for charges concerning Felony Bond Jumping for failing his required Preliminary Breathe Test. He was provided a court date/time. Pretrial conference scheduled for January 15, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.

December 24 12:29 p.m.

Report of a two-vehicle crash on westbound State Highway 29 near mile marker 101. 1:37 p.m. Report received of a vehicle in the ditch on highway 29 near mile marker 101.

December 25 2:38 a.m.

Complaint of an intoxicated person at the listed address. Upon arrival the store clerk advised that the man drove to and from the store and that he appeared to be heavily intoxicated. The vehicle information was gathered and the area checked. The vehicle was not located. Clerk was advised to contact the police department if the man returned again that evening.

6:42 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to Evergreen Cemetery north of the City of Stanley to assist Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a person in a wrecked vehicle. Officers remained on scene and assisted until they were no longer needed. 2:48 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to a residence in the 300 block of Lincoln Street for a report of a mother giving alcohol to a 7- year-old. 8:57 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic disturbance in Boyd.

December 26 12:25 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a theft that had occurred at Kwik Trip, with Kyle Bentler, age 22, ultimately cited for retail theft under city ordinance 11-3-6. Undetermined Forfeiture the severity.

December 27 2:42 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with an alarm at Tom’s Bar and Bowl. 2:11 p.m.

Requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with an eviction from an unspecified address. Assistance given as needed. 6:53 p.m.

Police were requested for a neighbor dispute in the 700 block of North Franklin Street. Report taken.

December 28 9:15 a.m.

Report received of someone falsely filing unemployment on behalf of another.

12:26 p.m.

Two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Emery Street and Fifth Avenue with no injuries being reported.

7:02 p.m.

Vehicle lockout. Vehicle waiver form was filled out and the vehicle was unlocked without incident.

December 29 6:45 p.m.

Harassment complaint.

December 30 12:22 a.m.

Traffic stop on a vehicle which had been parked in front of the Post Office for an extended period of time. Contact with the operator who stated that he was playing Pokémon Go. Operator identified and nothing suspicious observed. 7:19 p.m.

Police requested to assist the Hartford Police Department with an active investigation. Report taken. December 31 7:22 a.m.

Requested for a stray dog that had been located. Dog transported to Municipal Shop. Dog owner Morgan Marek, age 30, later located and warned for dog running at large. 1:17 p.m.

Requested to respond to a residence in the City of Stanley for a crisis intervention. Safety Plan put in place. 1:50 p.m.

Stanley Police requested for a theft complaint. Individual reported theft of tools from a residence. Incident under investigation.

2:19 p.m.

Stanley Police requested for a man refusing to leave a residence in the 400 block of Grant Street. Upon arrival the man was gone.

7:15 p.m.

Police were requested for a suspicious activity complaint in the 300 block of South Broadway. Report taken.

7:55 p.m.

Police were requested for a barking dog complaint.

January 1 3:51 a.m.

Stanley Police assisted the Clark County Sheriff’s Department with the pursuit of a stolen vehicle that entered the city limits and ended up crashing into a fire hydrant near the intersection of Lincoln Street and East Maple Street. Isabella Nielson, age 25, fled on foot from the vehicle and was later taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. A crash report was completed by Stanley Police and addition charges are being handled by the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.

8:37 a.m.

EMS call for an unconscious man at the listed address. Officer stood by and assisted EMS until he was no longer needed.

11:30 a.m.

Nicole Xiong, age 34, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd and a probation violation. She was later transported to the Chippewa County Jail and turned over to jail staff without incident.

January 2 3:27 p.m.

Stanley Travel Stop staff contacted the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office regarding a woman who was causing a disturbance in front of a story at 600 South Broadway while talking on her cell phone. Upon arrival the woman was identified as Alicia Schneider, who was subsequently arrested for a DOC warrant, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of Meth and paraphernalia. The vehicle passenger Terry Lindorff was arrested as Party to a Crime, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

4:29 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to the Express Mart gas station for an intentional gas driveoff. Driver Kyle Bentler, age 22, was identified by his physical description, vehicle description, and license plate number. Theft charge forwarded to the DA’s office under city ordinance 11-3-1, Theft of Property/Fuel. Undetermined Forfeiture the offense severity.
