A subject contacted the SPD in reference to items being removed from their residence. The incident is under investigation.

4:11 p.m.

An officer was requested for a noise complaint not in progress. The complainant was advised to make contact when there is an active incident.

8:01 p.m.

Police were requested for a gas skip complaint. Darnell J. Seichtner of Stanley is being referred to the Chippewa County District Attorney’s Office for a charge of theft.

8:57 p.m.

Police were requested to investigate suspicious activity from an apartment on Grant St.

Apr. 1 4:14 p.m.

A Chippewa County Sgt. requested an officer to check on a vehicle near the listed location. The officer was called off a short time later for the Boyd officer to respond instead. Nothing further.

8:46 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to 450 Grant St. for a noise complaint. Everything was calm upon arrival. Police were unable to make contact. Nothing further.

9:33 p.m.

Stanley Police were contacted by Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire. They reported a possible sex offense that may have occurred in Stanley. Follow up to be conducted; report to follow.

10:16 p.m.

Stanley Police were informed by anonymous complaint of a sex offender possibly living in the city limits. Follow up to be conducted; report to follow.

Apr. 2 10:41 a.m.

Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office advised that an adult female was yelling profanities and walking westbound on 3rd Ave. A male subject was later described as following the female. The female was identified as a group home resident who was having a behavioral episode. She was later escorted back to the River City Estates Group Home. The group home manager and the female’s father arrived, which helped calm the female down. The female went to her parent’s home for the day. Nothing further. Apr. 3 7:22 a.m.

An officer was requested for a 911 hang up call. It was determined to be a false alarm from a Stanley group home. 11:07 a.m.

An officer was requested for a noise complaint at an apartment complex in the City of Stanley. The noise was located; the subject was asked to turn their television down. 12:59 p.m.

Todd Pecha was issued a criminal summons for a felony bond violation after testing positive for the presence of alcohol, which is a violation of his felony bond. Report to follow.

2:25 p.m.

A report was received of a black Ram extended cab pick-up truck (approximately 98-99 model year) traveling northbound in the 700 block of Emery St. at a high rate of speed. No license plate number was able to be provided by the caller and no additional calls were received regarding this traffic matter. The area was checked, however a vehicle matching the given description was not located.

5:05 p.m.

An officer was requested for a theft from a residence in the City of Stanley. The incident was under investigation.

Apr. 4 7:01 a.m.

An officer was requested for two 911 hang up calls from a residence in the City of Stanley. The residence was contacted and stated it was a client using the phone and everything was fine.

7:26 a.m.

An officer was requested for several 911 hang up calls at a residence in the City of Stanley. It was determined to be a mental health case.

8:08 a.m.

A subject came into the Stanley Police Department for a required daily breath test. The subject provided a sample with a recorded value, subsequently violating bond conditions. Report to be sent to the DA.

Apr. 5 2:20 p.m.

An officer was requested for a possible large gathering of people near N. Broadway St. and 1st Ave. The area was checked; nobody was located.
