Stanley Police Department Calls for Service
Feb. 3 4:17 p.m.
A subject report seeing a brown pickup with a possibly intoxicated driver on Broadway St. in Stanley. An officer located the vehicle and no questionable driving behaviors were observed.
Feb. 4 10:08 p.m.
After seeing a car drive on the sidewalk multiple downs while driving up and down a street, a subject reported seeing a newer red car that’s driver was possibly intoxicated. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
11:02 p.m.
A caller reported an ongoing issue of possibly fireworks coming from the south east of their residence. Feb. 5 9:53 a.m.
An officer was requested to respond to take custody of found property.
10:46 a.m.
Stanley-Boyd school staff requested an officer after a vaping device was found to be in the possession of a student. The vehicle subject was subsequently cited for possession.
1:41 p.m.
An officer was requested to assist EMS after a 72 y/o male fell outside and needed assistance. 4:17 p.m.
A female subject was heard screaming on the line of a 911 call before being disconnected. Upon investigating, officers discovered a female subject in possession of a knife, threatening to kill herself. The subject was detained by law enforcement and an issue regarding her mental health was addressed via a voluntary commitment.
7:01 p.m.
A driver was stopped for erratic driving behavior. The elderly male was referred to the state as part of a driver condition report due to concerns observed by the officer.
F eb. 6 8:54 a.m.
Stanley-Boyd School staff reported inappropriate material circulating via social media; the investigation is ongoing.
9:18 a.m.
An officer responded to the Stanley Correctional Institution for a drug incident; the investigation is ongoing.
Feb. 7 9:29 a.m.
An officer opened a case regarding an animal bite.
