‘Rodeo’ shows may not be common to Wisconsin—(all the more reason to go!)—but cattle certainly are, and it is from the Spanish word for “cattle pen” that “rodeo” gets its name.
Dating locally from the early 2000s, the Stanley Rodeo is becoming

an old tradition in town, having replaced the Steamer Days which preceded it.
As to the company putting on the rodeo, these will be Three Hills Rodeo Company and Championship PRO Rodeo, working
together this year. Jaimie Keeku of the Stanley Rodeo had more
to share on just what fans can expect this Father's Days weekend
at Chapman Park.
"The rodeo started 18 years ago but due to Covid -19 this will be our 17th performance year," she shared via email. "Fans will
see some of the best athletes from the PRCA. Riders and the bulls, broncs, and steers.”
For tickets, Keeku said that, "Advance tickets can purchased
online thru Thursday evening,” along with the following
locations: Hazuga's True Value; Hansen's IGA; Oemig's Sport Shop; Forward Bank (Stanley Branch); and Martino's." And if
you’re hungry in the morning, Keeku made known that there’s
also a Cowboy Breakfast" put in Chapman Park by Our Savior's
Lutheran, held Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. The breakfast is one of the church’s fundraisers, Keeku said.
With so many working together to promote a good time in the Stanley Country, why not stop on down at Chapman Park this Father's Day Weekend? See you there!
