June 13 6:54 p.m. Travc stop for a moving violation. The driver was warned. 10:20 p.m.
Stanley Police conducted a travc stop for an equipment violation on Highway 29 westbound and 300th Street. Driver was verbally warned of expired license (06/01/22) and no insurance. Vehicle and operator followed back to their residence due to non-functioning taillamps at night time.
10:34 p.m. Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. The driver, Bryan J. Nitz, age 29, was issued a criminal citation for Operate While Revoked (Rev due to alcohol/controlled substance/ refusal). He was also cited for non-registration of auto and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
June 14 6:59 a.m. Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. Driver was warned. 11:06 a.m.
Assistance provided to the Thorp Police Department as requested with an apprehension attempt.
2:30 p.m. A woman reported issues pertaining to her daughter and unwanted contact from a previous respite care provider. 6:56 p.m.
Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. Venancio Bautista Cruz, age 37, was cited for operating without a valid license.
8:45 p.m. Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. The driver was warned.
9:16 p.m. Police responded to an active motion alarm on South Broadway. The building was cleared and no issues found.
11:16 p.m. Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. The driver was warned.
11:39 p.m. Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. Stephanie G. Palacios Pineda, age 25, was cited for operating without a valid license (3rd within 3 years) and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
June 15 12:29 a.m. Police responded to a noise complaint. Contact was made with the occupants of the home and they were warned to keep it down.
3:57 a.m. Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. The driver was warned.
A woman reported her credit card being stolen and $981 in fraudulent charges being made. Report to follow.
2:24 a.m. Police were requested at the Grant Street Apartments for an assault that involved two minors.
9:11 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to the 300 block of Boyd Street for an overdose. Report to follow.
9:19 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to Chapman Park campground for a boy observed in the women’s bathroom and shower area. Report to follow.
9:50 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to the 500 block fo East Murray Street for a landlord- tenant incident. Landlord advised the previous tenant left behind property and had been advised numerous times to remove the property. Ovcer advised the property owner that this was a civil matter and to make appropriate accommodations in regards to the abandoned property.
June 16 4:18 a.m. Stanley Police conducted a check vehicle at Broadway and Maple for a person slump over in a truck. The man was identified through previous law enforcement contacts and advised that they were sleeping. No report.
10:51 a.m. A person reported issues with another camper as it related to threats that had been
made. 11:53 a.m.
Assistance requested for an EMS call, however, police department stau were handling another matter at the time and were unable to respond. 12:25 p.m.
Assistance provided as needed with an EMS call where a man was heard screaming for help from inside a residence. 12:42 p.m.
Travc stop conducted on a veiled with malfunctioning brake lights. The driver was warned for the equipment and driver’s license violation.
4:15 p.m. Report of a two-vehicle accident with no injury but roadway blockage at South Broadway and Maple Street. Crash deemed to be reportable. 5:22 p.m.
Law enforcement was requested for a man who was threatening to shoot himself.
8:20 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to respond to Chapman Park at the deer enclosure for individuals attempting to lasso a fawn. Contact made with involved parties who advised they had been contacted by a city employee who requested the deer be moved to a separate enclosure for the upcoming rodeo.
June 17 7:51 a.m. EMS call for lift assist in the 100 block fo West Fourth Avenue. Ovcer stood by until no longer needed.
12:26 p.m. EMS call for someone experiencing an anxiety attack. Ovcer stood by with Boyd EMS until no longer needed.
3:47 p.m. Camper complaint made from the Chapman Campground.
June 18 2:41 a.m. Travc stop conducted for a moving violation. The driver, Jashanti-D. R. Cruz, age 18, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a license.
