Police were dispatched to the report of a two-vehicle crash with reported injuries at the intersection of North Broadway Street and Sixth Avenue. Report to follow.
12:20 p.m.
Officer requested for a vehicle lockout at Kwik Trip. Upon arrival arrangements were ultimately made with Stanley Truck Sales per the owner’s request to conduct the service “due to the ridiculous height of the vehicle.”
8:21 p.m.
Stanley Police were requested to assist the Cadott Police Department Assistance given as requested.
May 2 12:05 a.m.
Stanley Police observed a young man walking on North Broadway Street near East First Avenue. Contact was made and he was warned for curfew violation. Parent notified via phone See REPORTS, Page 7 REPORTS

Stanley Police were requested for a disturbance in the City of Stanley, with a young woman referred for battery charges. Report to follow. 2:16 a.m.
Stanley Police were requested to respond to the Stanley Police Department for a report of a sexual assault involving a young person. Report to follow. 10:20 a.m.
Police took report of someone possibly felony bail jumping (breaking the terms of their bail for a felony charge). After reviewing material provided and compiling evidence, Austin Engelke will be referred for a charge of felony bail jumping.
May 3 4:19 a.m.
Stanley Police were requested for a hit and run accident. Incident is under investigation. Report to follow.
1:37 p.m.
Emergency Detention utilized for someone deemed to be suffering from a mental health issue. Terms for such “emergency detentions” generally involve belief of possible harm to self and/ or others and are found in Chapter 51 of the State statutes.
2:19 p.m.
Cadott Sergeant Pries requested assistance with a check person complaint in the Village of Cadott. Stanley Officer stood by and provided assistance until no longer needed.
9:29 p.m.
Report was received regarding the theft of gas from the Stanley Travel Stop. As a result of the complaint, Sabrina Christie, age 22, was cited for theft. Report to follow.
9:46 p.m.
An engagement ring in the possession of a woman was called in and then turned into the Stanley Police Department so that it was returned to its rightful owner.
May 4 3:59 a.m.
Stanley Police were called to the area of Franklin Street and Fifth Avenue for a vehicle crash. The caller stated that he fell asleep while driving home from work and struck a parked vehicle. Report to follow. 6:17 p.m.
Theft of dog reported. No specifics in log.
2:36 p.m.
Stanley Police were called to assist Cadott Police with a warrant arrest located in the 300 block of South Ash Street in Cadott. The person was located at the address and taken into custody for the warrant along with new drug charges.
May 5 1:08 p.m.
Stanley Police were requested in relation to a fraud complaint at a North Broadway business. Incident under investigation.
5:19 p.m.
Police conducted a traffic stop, with the result that Autumn Kramer, age 19, was cited for speeding.
10:07 p.m.
Stanley Police were dispatched to a check person call near Oak Street and Lincoln Street. The caller stated that there were people outside shouting at each other. Police responded but found no disturbances. Police returned to patrol. No report.
May 6 12:36 a.m.
Stanley Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration. During the stop it was discovered that the operator, Ebony Robertson, was driving with an expired driver’s license. Ebony was cited for Operating without a valid license and warned for the expired registration. 11:59 a.m. Stanley Police responded for a vehicle lockout. Vehicle was opened.
