A recent Stanley-Boyd graduate has received a scholarship from the Wisconsin Bankers Foundation (WBF), non-profit arm of the Wisconsin Bankers Association.
Nicholas Szczech, Stanley-Boyd senior, has been chosen to receive the WBF spring scholarship in the amount of $2,000. Szczech works part time at Northwestern Bank and plans to continue doing so while studying accounting at UW-Eau Claire this fall.
Chosen for the scholarship along with Szczech are Mariana Gamez Garza of Fort Atkinson, Melanie Gauger of Mukwonago, and Ian Mouw of Three Lakes High School.
““Mariana, Melanie, Ian, and Nicholas have demonstrated outstanding financial literacy, which is a key component in earning the WBF Spring Scholarship,” said WBF Chair Rose Oswald Poels. “We are pleased to support their continued education and wish them success and fulfilment in their future financial services careers.”
