The residents of Traditions Assisted Living enjoyed an outing on Thursday March 24th. A stop at Hardee's in Neillsville for lunch followed by a short ride over to Granton to tour The Maple Dude. March is maple syrup month. Did you know that Wisconsin is ranked 4th in the U.S. for maple syrup production? The Maple Dude has a gift shop where residents were able to purchase some fun treats such as maple popcorn, maple cotton candy, maple soap, and of course some delicious maple syrup. We were given a tour of the production area and learned some interesting info about the process of making maple syrup! Submitted photo.
