Western wildfires lead to air quality alert for

Not quite sports news but worth mention was the unusual air quality advisory last week from the National Weather Service, due to smoke from wildfires in Canada. Not only did the Sun turn orange, but a smell reminiscent of pine sap could be smelt in certain areas of the state.
