Cheese curds in the park Friday, changes to Citywide Thrift Sales
The famous Stanley deep fried cheese curds will be for sale in Soo Park Friday from 2 – 7 p.m. Stop out and get some of the delicious deep-fried La-Grander’s curds. Proceeds will benefit city parks.
There is a date change for the Stanley Citywide Thrift Sales. They will now be held over two weeks: Aug. 6-8 and Aug. 13-15, so people can choose to have sales either or both weekends.
The Stanley Lions plan to have a big thrift sale Aug. 6-8 on Madison Avenue and will sell deep-fried cheese curds in Soo Park those same days.
Residences with sales will be promoted both weekends. There is no charge to sign your home up for the Stanley Citywide Thrift Sale.
