On Christmas Day 2019, Trinity Vineyard Church located on County Highway X between the cities of Stanley and Thorp served up a holiday meal as a form of community service and giving back. With the holiday dinner running from Noon until 2:00 p.m., church members served over 300 people this year, both on site inside the church building and off site via deliveries. “We received many donations from area businesses,” Elizabeth Peterson said, listing Kutzees, Kwik Trip, Hansen’s and the Thorp supermarket, among others. “This dinner would not be possible without the generous private and business donations. Trinity Vineyard Church wants to give back to the community. We also deliver to police and other workers in the community.” Photo submitted by Elizabeth Peterson.
