The Stanley Community Association’s Trunk or Treat is coming to Chapman Park on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stanley Community Association President Kristi Weiland shared more on the details for the annual event, now in its fifth year.
“Trunk or Treat is Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Chapman Park,” Weiland said. “We will be doing the Stuff The Trunk again where people can bring nonperishable food items, personal hygiene items, or monetary donations for the Stanley-Boyd Food Pantry.
“We are working on setting up a Halloween dance party that would include music on the stage.
This year we are allowing residents to also set up for a trunk. This is perfect for people that live where they don’t get many trick or treaters or people who aren’t home on Halloween but like to see all the kids in their costumes. Businesses, organizations or residents interested in signing up can do so on our website, stanleycommunity.us or our Facebook page.”
