The Oriole boys varsity basketball team is on a roll.
Currently ranked first in the Western Cloverbelt with a 7-0 record, the Orioles most recent wins include a 63-44 game against Baldwin-Woodville on Dec. 15, followed with a 54-39 win against Cadott Dec. 16.
A home game scheduled for Dec. 18 against Thorp was moved to Jan. 27 due to weather.
Top point leaders against Baldwin-Woodville were Brenner Myers and Charlie Hoel, contributing 23 points each. Troy Haas scored five points, Carson Woodcock scored four, Brayten Mallo and Jesse Allard each scored three, with Josiah Demske scoring two.
Point leader at Cadott was Hoel with 15 points, followed by Myers with 13, Demske with 10, Mallo with nine, Haas with four and Allard with three.
The Orioles faced Regis Tuesday, Dec. 30 after press time, with Elk Mound the next home contest on Thursday, Jan. 6. Game start against Elk Mound is 7:00 p.m.
