The Stanley Community Association, SCA, will once again be hosting family friendly BINGO at the Community Building in Chapman Park, 450 W. 4th Ave, Stanley. The three dates are January 18, February 15, and March 15. Food will start being served at 12 p.m. and BINGO will start at 1 p.m. New this year, instead of selling concessions, we will be serving a free community meal, with January sponsored by Mahr Brothers. It will be first come first serve, until we run out. There will be a donation box for those that would like to pay something for their meal, but we want those who could use a break from rising food costs to come and enjoy it. It will still be required to make a donation to play BINGO, just like the previous years. Winners receive half of the money collected for each game. Last year some of the winning pots got to over $40. Proceeds from these events will go towards phase one of our Play Big, Dream Bigger project which is the playground portion. The January meal will be sloppy joes, February is spaghetti, and March is corned beef and cabbage. As always, we will have some hotdogs at each meal as well.
