Oriole boys varsity head basketball coach Dakota Nichols shared more on the game at Neillsville after results.
“Credit to our guys for staying focused and battling. We trailed most of the game, but we stayed positive and did a much better job of closing out on shooters in the second half.”
Of Stratford Nichols shared the following.
“Having a big size advantage in the post, we knew that Josiah and Charlie would need to have a big game for us to be successful. They were both very efficient down low, which then opened up 3 point opportunities for our guards. Overall, it was a great team win.”
Now third in conference, the Orioles take on Bloomer Thursday at Bloomer. Game start is 7:00 p.m.
