Stanley Council and fire department members took a look at a new pumper truck Monday, March 9 at the Stanley Fire Station. The truck brought over for a look would replace Engine 2 at Stanley, the oldest truck the department has. Just a look for now, the new pumper truck would allow the department to bring extra water to fire calls, among other advantages. Any purchase is still far out in time.
