The Stanley-Boyd Area School District honored its senior student-athletes during the Senior Athletic Banquet held Wednesday, May 6, recognizing accomplishments in athletics, academics, leadership and sportsmanship throughout the 2025-26 school year.
Athletes and their families gathered for an evening of food, conversation and recognition as several awards were presented to celebrate the dedication and commitment shown by the district’s graduating seniors during their athletic careers.
Bailey Sikora and Willy Graham received the Outstanding Senior Athlete Award. Sikora also shared the Marie Hanley Sportsmanship Award with Gunnar Goettl.
The Adversity Award was presented to Grace Schmidt and Aaron Sturm, while the Team Builder Award went to Lula Chwala and Carter Weltzin.
Lula Chwala and Gunnar Goettl were recognized as Cloverbelt Scholar-Athletes.
Macie LaGrander and Carson Hodowanic received WIAA Scholar-Athlete honors.
The banquet concluded with recognition of the senior athletes for their contributions to Stanley-Boyd athletics and the Oriole community.
