Upcoming Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drives

Posted

A recent decline in blood donations may soon make it tough to keep blood products stocked on hospital shelves. We need all eligible donors to come forward and give at the upcoming Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drives on March 6 and June 1. All drives are held at the Stanley Community Center in Chapman Park. A successful blood drive can make a difference.

If you haven’t made your appointment for the March 6 drive, there are several open slots, but they may fill up fast. If you would like to make an appointment, you may do so online, by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767 or Donella at 715-644-3638. The June 1 drive is also on-line, so donors may make an appointment for that drive as well.

The December drive was cancelled due to the weather, along with some others, so the blood supply needs to be kept stocked and the only way that can be done is having donors donate at all drives they are able to.

Please make your appointment if you haven’t already done so. You are needed for each and every Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive. Patients depend on you to help them. Let’s show our support and donate blood on March 6 and June 1.
