The girls varsity volleyball squad kicked off its season with a scrimmage August 24 at Black River Falls. Having graduated one senior last year with eight returning players, Head Coach Karley Wiensch said the following.
“The scrimmage went well. We played well together and there are high hopes for the season! The players that we have within the Stanley-Boyd volleyball program are very athletic and willing to push themselves to compete with the top volleyball programs in the area. I believe Stanley-Boyd Volleyball will be able to compete with all the teams in the Western Cloverbelt.”
