Good luck to all heading out to the Wisconsin fishing opener this weekend. Water levels are high and water temperatures are fairly low. Long range forecast calls for moderating temperatures later this week. This past week I returned from a trip to North Central Minnesota near Milaca County area. A number of lakes still had a fair amount of ice on them. The Minnesota fishing season opens the second Saturday in May.
