Stanley, WI — The 2025 Light Up the City holiday light competition proved to be another successful year, spreading Christmas joy throughout the City of Stanley and bringing the community together in festive spirit.
This year’s residential winners included 1st Place: Mark and Brittni Burzynski, 2nd Place: Duce Family, and 3rd Place: the Allen Family. First through third place residential winners will receive cash prizes, with the Duce family generously choosing to match their winnings and donate them back to the “Play Big, Dream Bigger” Playground and Splash Pad Capital Campaign. The Burzynski family also incorporated a donation drop box into their display, with all proceeds benefiting the same capital campaign.
In the business category, Schuebel Lawn Care earned 1st Place for their outstanding holiday display.
Organizers extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who participated, visited displays, and helped make this year’s Light Up the City another memorable celebration of community, generosity, and Christmas cheer.
