The Boyd Area Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring the annual Corn Feed and Street Dance in Boyd on Friday, August 9. Murray Street will be closed off beginning around 4 p.m., with festivities getting under way on Boyd’s main street with free corn on the cob starting around 5 p.m. Also on hand will be the St Joseph’s food wagon featuring their Philly steak sandwiches, fries, burgers and chicken nuggets. Mr. Entertainment will be providing inflatables for the kids, along with music to dance to, and The Cheek Boutique will be on hand to paint children’s faces. As in previous years, Hetchs of Boyd is donating both a girls’ and boys’ bike for the free bike give-away. Drawing for the bikes will be held at 9 p.m.
Plan now to come out for some neighborly camaraderie, good food and fun activities for the whole family!
