Boyd Chamber plans for Ringelspiel Days!

The monthly meeting of the Boyd Chamber of Commerce was held Tuesday, April 9 at 5:30 with the main topic of discussion being the upcoming Ringelspiel Days. The annual event will take place May 24, 25 and 26 at Lotz Park in Boyd.
First up for the festivities will be the Miss Boyd coronation. This event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 at the Boyd Legion Hall. Any young ladies interested in becoming Miss Boyd should contact Carol Pilgrim at 715-703-8813. Miss Boyd represents the town at various parades and events throughout the year, and will attend the St Paul Winter Carnival in January, 2025, in St. Paul MN.
Friday at Ringelspiel will bring Spectrum Carnival with rides, games, fun and food for the entire family. St. Joseph school staff will be manning the concession stand with their famous Philly steak sandwiches and other goodies. And if you’re in the mood, the Stanley Rodeo/Truck & Tractor Pull group will be on hand with their scrumptious deep fried cheese curds. ANOTHER ROAD takes the stage in the big pavilion/beer tent from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. bringing some great country/rock music to town.
Saturday will feature a Bean Bag tournament held by the T ball field. The tournament will have 100% pay back to teams. Sign up at 12 noon with play starting at 1p.m.. To sign up a team or for more information, please contact Moldy at 715-829-9533. Also on Saturday visitors can enjoy Bingo in the pavilion beginning at 1 p.m.. PAINT ME FIRST professional face painting will be on hand from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. to transform the younger visitors. There will also be a Pedal Pull contest with sign up at 1 p.m. Taking the stage in the big pavilion/beer tent at 7 p.m. will be FULLY LOADED, entertaining with their style of Rock and Roll music. Also on hand all day and evening will be Spectrum Rides, Rodeo cheese curds and St Joes food in the concession stand.
Sunday begins with the parade down Murray Street. Line up begins at 11 a.m. with the parade starting at 1 p.m.. After the parade, you can mosey down to the park to enjoy charcoal chicken by the Boyd Lions club. Spectrum Rides will be in full swing, and those wonderful cheese curds will be available. Visitors can enjoy great oldies music provided by BONAFIDE from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the big pavilion/beer tent.
There is a lot going on so mark your calendars to come out and enjoy a good time with friends and neighbors.
