Friday, August 11 is the date for the 40^th annual corn feed and street dance in Boyd.  From 5:30 p.m. -9:30 p.m., families can enjoy free corn on the cob along with music and entertainment from Rock N Roll To Go Plus on the main street of Boyd. There will also be inflatables set up on the street for some fun for the kids. Murray Street will be blocked off to traffic beginning at 5p.m. and the cookers will be busy boiling the corn.  St Joseph’s Lunchbox food wagon will be available for those wishing for a little something to go with their sweet corn. The Cheek Boutique will also be on hand to paint up the faces for the kids (or adults if you so desire). There will be a free drawing for both a girl’s and a boy’s bike, with the drawing held at 9 p.m.
