Citizens State Bank came to Stanley just years ago.
As of January 30, 2026, it will close doors here, welcoming costumers to its newly remodeled Cadott branch at 505 South Main Street in Cadott, beginning in December 2025. The Lake Wissota branch will be remodeled, while Eagle Point will be closed along with Stanley, pending all regulatory approval.

The bank sent a letter to customers late last month announcing the changes:
“Hello,
“We are writing to inform you Citizens State Bank’s Stanley branch, located at 218 North Broadway in Stanley WI, will be permanently closing on January 30, 2026.
“To ensure uninterrupted service, all customer accounts from the Stanley branch will be automatically transferred to our conveniently located and newly remodeled Cadott branch at 505 South Main Street, Cadott, WI. No action is required on your part—your account numbers, electronic banking, and other services will remain unchanged and/or available at the Cadott branch.
“You can continue to enjoy full banking services at the Cadott branch, which offers updated amenities and a welcoming environment. WE are excited to serve you from our newly remodeled Cadott branch beginning in mid-December 2025!
