At the Town of Colburn monthly meeting on April 3, Chairman Brad Hompe gave an update on the recently passed Chippewa County Ordinance that allows ATV/UTV travel on all county roads with an average daily traffic count below 750. Due to this all county roads in Colburn are open to ATV/UTV traffic with the exception of Hwy H from 130th Avenue to 165th Avenue while all town roads have been open to ATV/UTV traffic for several years. The Town of Colburn has applied to open a section of Hwy H and are awaiting approval.
