The City of Stanley is partnering with the Stanley Truck Pull and Rodeo (STPR Inc.) on certain insurance items, coverage for the annual Rodeo itself staying separate.
The agreement, detailed in council documents and approved at the Monday, Dec. 15 council meeting, called for the city to maintain insurance coverage for the bleachers and concession stand contents, the City invoicing STPR annually for the total cost of insurance premiums. STPR will then make payment in full within 30 days of receiving the invoice. The agreement once entered will remain in effect unless terminated in writing with at least 90 day’s notice. Coverage remaining in case of termination will be prorated and settled accordingly.
Final upon signing by both parties, the agreement was approved with a motion by Alderperson Ben Wald, seconded by Alderperson Terry Metzger.
