Are you from Stan- ley-Boyd originally? What about family? Just what drives you to seek the role of mayor this election cycle? I was born and raised in the Stanley-Boyd area my entire life. My wife Stephanie and our children Chloe, Bryce, Jayse and Klaye reside on East 3rd Ave in Stanley and have lived at that spot for 7 years. I think the biggest thing that drove me to seek election this cycle was I am tired of seeing how our tax money is being spent in spots and places that are not that necessary. The way the employees are being treated was another concern they need to be compensated for what they do experience and quality goes along ways we need to close that revolving door that seems to be happening on employee turn over.

What do you bring to the table in terms of background and experience, and how would you prioritize differ – ent city needs, made into a list? How would these needs and goals be achieved? We need to work on infrastructure as well. We need to update our water plant and add more wells and on the sewer side of things. We need to make sure we have the capacity to operate at a comfortable level so we can add businesses to the city because without infrastructure we have nothing but land. We need to inform people of what’s going on in the city as far as New businesses are concerned; we can’t keep it all a secret and say we don’t know what they are doing we need to know these things instead of waiting until it’s voted on and approved and no one in the city knows nothing about it. There are many grants available for many of the projects needed to be done. We have three people in the office. Let's put them to work looking up grants. The work used to be done with only two people so let’s utilize our resources.

What else should people know? We need to talk to all of our departments and see what their needs are and see if we can obtain those needs. Employee interaction is a must – they know this city and know what needs to be done. So I am hoping we can make these things happen. That is why I am running as a write-in for city of Stanley mayor.

Are you from Stan- ley-Boyd originally? What about family? Just what drives you to seek the role of mayor this election cy- cle? I lived and worked all my life in the Stanley area, also a graduate of Stanley Boyd high school. I am married and have two grown children, both graduates from Stanley-Boyd school. I have belonged to and still belong to a number of nonprofit organizations in the community and helped bring in new events for the public to enjoy.

I am running for a second term for mayor of the city of Stanley. I feel we have made some great steps forward in the past two years with the upgrades to the wastewater facility completing the community center and the Police addition at City Hall.

Our next step is to focus on our water facility with upgrades and locating more water to meet our needs.

What do you bring to the table in terms of background and experience, and how would you prioritize different city needs, made into a list? How would these needs and goals be achieved? My list of city needs starts out with our water and wastewater facilities making sure they are up to date for now and into the future. Working to help bring in new business into the city. I think it is very important to keep working to keep our parks and streets clean and inviting to residents and visitors.

What else should people know? We have beautiful parks and we should be proud of them. We also have to work together to keep our residential and business districts clean and orderly.
