The City of Stanley is making it easier than ever to recycle electronics—right here at home! Beginning June 7th , Stanley will serve as a local drop-off site for First Choice Recycling of Eau Claire, offering residents a convenient way to dispose of unwanted electronics and appliances. Drop-offs will be accepted on the first Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the old county building. Most items can be recycled for free; however, appliances containing freon will require a $20 fee per item. Please note that fluorescent bulbs and batteries will not be accepted. This new partnership brings an easy, eco-friendly solution to the Stanley community’s doorstep!
