While the family, friends and supporters hold very special memories of the 10 Travis Geist Memorial Tournaments near and dear to their hearts, the time is here to close the fi nancial books. Since the First Tournament, the donations received from Teams, Volunteers, Partners, Businesses and Individuals contributed to the success of the Memorial and fundraising. The proceeds from this event assisted with Lotz Park improvements, family emergencies and many community fundraisers too numerous to mention. The support & generosity for this “Family Fun Weekend” was always overwhelming and heartwarming.
The remaining funds will be donated to the Village of Boyd for the new Lotz Park T-Ball project that is underway which is to be completed in time for the 2022 season. This donation is a final extension of the original intent for The Memorial and to create a continued “Family Fun Time”.
