HOMEPLACE Happenings
The residents started out their week making flowers and Easter eggs for their doors thanks to staff and some hard working residents we were able to decorate every ones door for spring. Some of our residents helped replant our house plants and we started seeds of Mari – golds, sun flowers, hens and chicks and a mix of seeds that attract humming birds, it will be exciting to see them grow in our gardens this summer. Out of all the activities we do Bingo is our resident favorite. We get together to play on Thursdays and Saturdays and we have very se –
rious players. Our winners this week were Su – san, Barb, Larry, Bunny and Joann and thanks to Monica for Calling.
Jules and I are walking outdoors and he is walking faster and farther than previous days. Go Jules go! Monica, Jackie and I are still walking three times a week, for now we are walking the neighborhood we will venture far – ther as it warms up We ventured to the Stanley library and the residents checked out books, it was a beautiful day for a walk.
We celebrated a birthday this week with balloons, streamers and cake. Happy Birthday Kathy!
