The rodeo has come and gone, but for those not ready to call it a summer, the Second Annual Independence Day Celebration is coming to Chapman Park July 1.
Starting at 3 p.m., the Independence Day Celebration will have a bean bag tournament, bike raffle, axe throwing, laser tag, kids’ tractor pull, Team USA Football drills, face painting, lawn bowling, and more!
Readers can sign up for the bean bag tournament at Reclaimed Tavern, Stanley Bar and Bowl, Debbie’s on Broadway, and at Twilite. The tournament costs $25 per team.
As to other events at the Second Annual Independence Day Celebration, there will be music on the main stage, along with a craft show, food stand, beer tent, and Lego wars. A truck raffle will take place at 7 p.m., with a flag folding ceremony at 9 pm. Presentation of the colors will take place at 9:50 p.m., with fireworks at 10 p.m.
