I’ve always loved a place with books, beginning with the bookmobile that would deliver books to my one-room schoolhouse. Then I discovered that there were whole buildings that contained books...JOY! But, not only do libraries have books, they are community hubs for people. Libraries provide services to communities that most people are unaware of, unless you need those services. The D. R. Moon Library is in great need of expansion so those services can embrace a larger part of the community. Stop by the library to see what services the library can offer you! As Ron says in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, ‘When in doubt, go to the library.’ -Rhonda Hoernke
Did you know…?
The library saved our patrons an estimated $665,890 last year.
We can help with that!
Do you have an idea for a library program, event, or service that you think would really benefit the community? Talk to library staff about it! We are always open to ideas to help improve what the library offers.
