A Stanley-Boyd alumnus is looking for support, after he and his wife entered their baby in the 2025 Variety ‘Baby of the Year’ contest.

S-B Class of 2011 alumnus Austin Kirckof and his wife Marisa have entered their baby Miles in a Baby of the Year Contest, the contest in partnership with Baby2Baby and Variety Magazine. The contest involves a prize of $25,000, deemed ‘life changing’ for the family which has experienced issues with transportation reliability.

Now ranked sixth, Miles is a happy baby.

Miles is one of the most social and happiest babies you’ll ever meet!” The entry at babyoftheyear.org states. “He’s chill and down for almost any adventure! He loves to giggle, loves being held by anyone, and is always exploring new possibilities,” the bio states.

Miles favorite activity is when he’s playing with mommy and daddy and they make funny faces/voices and he tries to grab their faces and give them big kisses!”

Currently ranked sixth, the vote for the Top Five in the Baby of the Year Contest ends Thursday, Oct. 16, the final draw taking place in early December.
